Yay finished

At last I've have made the leg detail below the knee work on the trousers styled on asian Chudidarr.

Remade twice excluding sowing things together back to front on the 1st pass, I'm quite pleased with how they turned out, might not pass any short of quality standard but they fit, feel comfortable and from a distance look ok.

Whats your cat like

Thinking about all the eccentricities of cats, and that’s not taking into account there individual personalities which unless you’re a cat owner you don’t appreciate.
So discounting Jasmine personality I listed a few things below I think she has in common with other cats and few things less in common.

My cat Jasmine likes in common with lot of other cats I’ve known.
>Sitting between me and the computer screen so I have look at her, this also works the same with books and magazines.
>Running up and down the stairs like a herd of elephants.
>Sitting on my lap 5 minutes before I need to leave for work, delaying me as long as possible.
>Waking me up a 5am in the morning
>Sitting/sleeping where it’s warm when I’m not available, currently her favourite place is on top of my cable modem.
>Playing in and around cardboard boxes.
>Attacking your feet under the duvet as they move, or as a method of waking you.

Jasmine likes not in common with other cats I know, unless you tell me different
>Playing fetch, Jasmine Has A toy nickname Mr Worm which I throw to the far corners of the room for her to retrieve and return to me, dropping at my feet.
>Sleeping in the bed with her head on pillow and body under the duvet.
>Meowing when I won’t play, she makes a sound like a short tongued person saying hello, which goes on until I pick up her toy.
>Sitting in the crook of my arm while I wonder around the house, refusing to be phased by me going up stairs, leaning forward to pick stuff, all while I struggle to do things one handed, I suppose in this its my fault for not putting her down.

Interested in anything your cat or cats do or don’t do that are different.

TORM

Today I went to the Medieval Market in Coventry, looking for fabric, buttons, cord, leather scraps and a present for someones 18th. (TORM - The Original Reenactors Market)

I got none of the above, instead I came away with a waistcoat (thanks for the help Julie, tried it on with frock coat looks good), bi-corn hat, a Egyptian bag which after getting it home I think was great find, 3 shirts, a pretty box and pretty compass.

I suppose its a good thing I was inspired to buy these things, still me thinks I will regret not buying other stuff in a couple of weeks.

So what did I forget, I now need some trousers/breeches to go with the frock coat and waistcoat, wool to make a new coat for Guru, and a new hat.

Danger of Fabric Dyeing

Warning check you marigolds before hand dyeing fabric
Mine had a hole in one finger, I did not find until after 30 minutes of hand agitating in the sink.
The photo below is after scubbing the finger :(
Just need to wait for few layers of skin to fall off now

Cat, Home Alone

Having been away for a whole weekend my cat has decided I'm the best thing since sliced bread, so is stuck to my arm, shoulder or leg depending on what I'm doing which is, trying to unpack, trying to eat, trying to have a shower, and trying to type this, none with great success because of Jasmine.
Purring away while sitting in the crook of my arm warming my chest, I appreciate how nice it is to have welcome home.
I met Julie's new cat Charlie as well today and now appreciate why she thinks Jasmine is tiny, that's because Charlie is a big cat, Missy was nowhere to be seen.
Jasmine is now screaming for attention so best get the shoe lace.
