Memorabilia

This Saturday I was asked if I wanted to go the Memorabilia at the NEC Birmingham, basically a large market selling everything anyone would collect from TV shows, films, sports, games, music, toys, cards, signatures, ex props etc.
The event was in the hall next to a event called 'Sewing for Pleasure', now I have just started doing a bit of sewing but not for pleasure, more for need, although I do get pleasure out of the finished garment, needless to say I wasn't tempted to pop in and have a look, at least not after paying the rip off entry fee of £ 11.00 to Memorabillia.
Still plenty of costumes to look at we had Storm Troopers, Jedi's, Superhero's, Power Rangers, Planet of the Apes, Predator, Alien, Dr Who's from 5 years old to 70 years old, the list goes on, I particularly enjoyed the FX make up demonstration, although I went back an hours later and they still turning the same volunteer in the undead zombie thing and looked like they would be there for the rest of the day.
On the other side of things lots of C, D and E rated stars signing autographs, Dr Who normally full of star signing autographs could only find one rather plump ex Dr Colin Baker (Not a good Dr if remember, but was bored with Dr Who at that point) and few ex Bad guys, a couple of companions, the biggest queue was for a ex Boxer, I nearly got something signed by Toyah Wilcox since I was a fan at one time, I did say nearly, 5 quid for a signature and photo, not that big a fan.
