There are other cat rescue charities you ...Hmmm...<br /><br />There are other cat rescue charities you can try, many of which are listed here under cats (or Middle if you want regional rescue centres)...<br /><br />http://www.animalrescuers.co.uk<br /><br />If adopting from an organisation, consider widening your search to include anything within an hour's drive from you. <br /><br />Contact the centre before going to see them and ask after animals that might be available in coming weeks as well as those that are up for adoption now. If at all possible try to arrange to visit to see the conditions the cat is kept in and in the case of most charities (the Cats Protection certainly do this as they held on to Missy for nearly 3 weeks for me) you can reserve a cat if you see one you like.<br /><br />Another option is to talk to your local vets, both the private and charity run; they will know of recently born litters which are not ready to leave their mum's yet and may be able to put in a good word for you.<br /><br />If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.<br /><br />Good luck!Julie Spriddlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09205892238480112260noreply@blogger.com
